Our innovative company, Whatever, is proud to announce the worldwide availability of Knowledge Plaza, the social productivity platform.
Knowledge Plaza has been developed as a Web-based platform for enterprise search, social bookmarking, knowledge management, information brokerage and expert identification. All of these aspects have been integrated into an Enterprise 2.0 inspired product with a clean, modern and user-friendly interface.
Our mature B2B product is currently in a broad scale roll out at one of the most global and respected professional services companies in the world.
The product introduces some amazing (well we think so) features and new concepts such as:
- Expert as Search Engine (EaSE) - every member becomes a custom (live) search engine across their sources (bookmarks) on the Internet as well as within Knowledge Plaza. This allows users to leverage the expertise of their colleagues for information searching.
- Mosaics (collections of knowledge items) - users can individually and collaboratively combine pieces of information into a Mosaic, build wiki content around the information and make it available for other users. In addition it’s possible to export the Mosaic for sharing or trading outside of Knowledge Plaza.
- Enterprise Social Search - using the expertise of those around you to find and retrieve information.
- Many different content types - users can add Internet bookmarks, documents and files, e-mails, contacts and references into the Plaza. Browser and e-mail integration make adding content a breeze.
- Tags and Facets, Search and Browse - when looking for information users are able to combine full text search with facet and tag selection as well as restricting results to one or many members.
